Danny Kingsberry asked me to take a few shots of his art work that will be showing at the University of Ulster  (Belfast) at the end of the month. His work is made up of different sculptures created out of epic amounts of concrete which created unusual and visually stunning pieces.

If you like Danny’s work you can find more by clicking here.

You can check out more photographs from the shoot in the photography section.

  Bomb City 7 - P(r)retty Place Music Video. (25th - 26th April 2011)

Bomb City 7 (BM7) are one of the most unique and interesting bands floating about Belfast today. All the band members originate from different musical backgrounds with different music al tastes creating a mesh of influences which is the key to what makes their sound so unique. Their lyrics include their political view points within Northern Ireland and comedic ideologies of Belfast that anyone can recognize if they have spent more than an afternoon in the city. The musical styles range from Punk Rock to Hip Hip which should help bring together different alternative groups of the Belfast Music scene and break down elitist barriers often associated with being outside of modern popular culture.

The shoot happened over the two day Easter break which proved troublesome as everyone was too busy eating Easter eggs to help and I was somewhat of a lone ranger when it came to filming. However with the help of the band and their friends it manage to be quite a stress free shoot, even if Brendy insisted on sorting out his social life in the middle of the shoot!

We filmed in several locations such as Stormont (the epicentre of Northern Irish politics) in the East of the city, alleyways in the West of the city, Coffee shops in the South , Parks in the North and ‘A Saunter’ down the City Centre. The lads kept their spirits high even though they had to sing the song 40 times and kept animated even when faced with a Hangover. The music video will hopefully be released on their EP Launch which is happening upstairs in Aunty Annies on May 19th and frankly if you have read all of this and you don’t attend then you’re a shit.
